Three Months in Harrisburg, PA
There are some people who come into our lives and make a difference and don’t even know the difference they have made. A family in particular comes to mind…The Cases. I have known the Cases for a little over 3 months now and I am so thankful for each one of them. They are some wicked-sweet, generous people. To allow a person they only met once live with them, takes faith and trust. They opened up their front door on August 17th and said welcome home. But here is something they may not know.
4 or 5 months ago I had been praying over a couple of options as far as my career. Each option had it’s pros and cons, but there were specific things for each option that I prayed for.( I prayed for the whole thing in itself, but here were some behind the scene specifics.) For the career choice at Exponential Church.Tv, it was finding a second job, the knowledge and resources for directing an entire children’s ministry program, and a place to live. It’s hard being a college graduate and having life expenses…(and it will only get harder I’m sure, but…) What the Case’s don’t know is that if it were not for their hospitality I am not sure where I would be right now. All in all God knew what I needed and provided accordingly. God always seems to figure things out…The Case’s have helped in providing this extraordinary opportunity and it will not be taken lightly.
Thank you Jeff, Alana, and Jenna for allowing me to be a part and for providing for my needs. Thank you for sacrificing your resources, spaces, time, and energy. I am proud to be a part. And hope and pray that I can be a blessing to others like are a blessing to me.
